Diana Santos obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester, and her juris doctor from American University’s Washington College of Law. Ms. Santos is a member of the bar of the state of Maryland. Upon entering private practice, Ms. Santos has focused exclusively on immigration law, and has represented hundreds of immigrants in hearings before the immigration court, at interviews conducted by USCIS as well as on appeal before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
As a first generation born American, Ms. Santos knows firsthand the struggles and sacrifices of immigrants who come to the United States in order to make a better life for themselves and their families. Having grown up in a family of immigrants, she understands language and cultural barriers can make it difficult to navigate the justice system and to exercise your rights. With this understanding in mind, Ms. Santos will be a compassionate advocate who will fight passionately to protect you and your family from being deported and help you obtain legal status in the United States. Having served hundreds of immigrants, she has the experience, the drive and the know-how to help you, whether it be in defense of deportation, to family based visas, nonimmigrant visas, or citizenship and naturalization
